I am currently a PhD researcher at Signal processing group at NTNU with Prof. Stefan Werner, where I work on advancing federated learning (FL) at the intersection of privacy-preserving machine learning and distributed optimization. My research involves developing new algorithms for communication-efficient training, designing error-feedback methods for non-convex optimization, and analyzing convergence under heterogeneous and resource-constrained settings. I also build practical FL systems that make machine learning feasible on low-resource devices while safeguarding user data. I am always open to collaborations; feel free to reach out if our interests align :)
